Bids are blind — nobody sees yours until the window is processed.
The highest bid wins. When two teams bid the same amount,
it is settled in this order:
the higher bid
then the team with the fewest points scored this season
then the team with the worst record (a tie counts as half a win)
then whoever placed the bid first
A losing bid costs you nothing — FAAB is only
deducted when a claim is won.
Backup bids. Make a bid a
backup to another of your bids and they form a group: you win
at most one player from it. Your first choice is decided first; your
next choice only competes if it loses. Each bid has its own amount and its own drop,
and the ones you do not need are closed without charge.
